The short version
If a report we sold you was not worth what you paid, tell us within fourteen days and we will refund it. You do not have to argue the point with us.
We can offer that because we think the reports are good, and because a customer who feels cheated costs far more than $150.
Before delivery
Cancel any time before we deliver and you get a full refund, no questions. Email us — if the work has not gone out, it has not cost you anything.
We will also refund you in full, without being asked, if:
- We cannot complete the research — for example, the records are not publicly available, or the property is outside Massachusetts.
- We miss our stated turnaround by more than two business days without telling you in advance.
- Answering your question properly would require an engineering conclusion we are not permitted to give. In that case we will tell you what Lebra would charge to answer it properly, and you are free to walk away.
After delivery
Research is work performed on request, and once a report is written the work is done. Even so, within fourteen days of delivery you may ask for a refund and we will give one. We may ask what was wrong with it, because that is how the product improves, but an answer is not a condition of the refund.
After fourteen days we will not normally refund a delivered report, though we will correct any factual error in it at no charge, for as long as you own the property.
Credits
What you pay for a research product is credited against Lebra engineering work, as described on the pricing page. If you take a refund instead, the credit goes with it — you get the money or the credit, not both.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire twelve months after purchase.
Engineering work
Inspections, design and permitting are contracted with Lebra Engineering & Design, LLC under Lebra’s own proposal and terms. This policy does not cover that work. Lebra’s cancellation terms are set out in its proposal, and you should read them before you sign.
How to ask
Email us with your order number. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Square, and usually appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
