If your permit was denied
Say so on the form and you skip the queue. A denied permit is a live problem with a clock on it, and it goes straight to a person rather than into an email sequence. Bring the denial letter — the reason given on it usually determines whether this is a two-week fix or a different project altogether.
If you are an agent or a contractor
Send the address and a line about what your client is considering. Agents: the first one is free. Contractors: tell us the town and the scope and we will tell you the sequence and what the inspector there tends to flag.
